When you’ve got some hours to kill in Brussels, Belgium and you don’t want to be driving around town all day, take a trip to Mini-Europe. The miniature park is ideally located next to the Atomium in Brussels. A perfect and entertaining activity for all ages. As the name reveals, Mini-Europe is made up of mini models (scale of 1:25) of all popular monuments in the European Union. Also… Remember the little trains your cousin used to play with when you were little? The park has a whole bunch of them. It also carries active models like mills and cars… It’s basically the ultimate miniature playground you wish you ever had.

The all-round details are amazing, even the people figurines are very well executed. I’m also getting a lot of info on every country, including the national anthem that can be listened to by pushing a button. Slightly cheesy but nice touch! Two hours, 350 models, 90 cities and 27 countries later I finish my tour at the park with a satisfied heart and more wanderlust than Columbus I move on to the next adventure: Brussels Atomium.
